Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) as well as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. [20] She was hired at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. In 2015, she returned to the White House as communications director and remained until the close of the Obama administration.
