Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her numerous roles in FX's horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021) is what makes her famous. In her role as Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice, she received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn Sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits (2017). Vice (2018). Fractured (1999). The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe has also been seen on television in The Whispers (2015) and The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021), and The First Lady (2022). Her screen debut came in 2001, alongside Jill Clayburgh, her mother. Her professional stage debut was staged by the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts and she reprised her role with her mother. She was a major character in her portrayal of speaking well of the dead by Israel Horovitz and The Crazy Girl (Frank Pugliese) that were both one-act shows that enabled her to obtain an Equity Card. She was back with the Gloucester Stage Company in July 2003 to perform in Proof by David Auburn. In 2003, she appeared also in the movie Mona Lisa Smile. Following graduation, she moved back to New York. Deirdre was a part of White Jesus from September 29 through October 2, 2004, one of several one-act plays that were presented by The Democracy Project at The Naked Angels Theater Company.
